Schools Liaison

Griffith College Cork has a dedicated Schools Liaison Officer (SLO). Please contact the SLO to arrange a visit to your school.

The Schools Liaison Officer can:
Provide potential students with sufficient background and indepth specific information on courses and facilities to enable them to make an informed choices.

Offer information, advice and support to second-level students, their parents, career guidance counsellors and teachers

Provide initial information to help you with course choice(s) entry points, finance and welfare issues, accommodation etc.

Visit your School or College to offer talks and advice on:

  • Application Procedures
  • Student Life
  • Student Welfare
  • GCC courses, library and computing facilities, social life, clubs and societies

Talks can be combined or adapted so that they are relevant to a particular School / College / Parents Group

Answer your queries at various national/regional higher education careers events.We attend many local school/college events in Ireland, as well as larger events, including Career Options Cork, The Irish Times Higher Options RDS, and numerous AIB Career Seminars.

Organise campus visits for individuals or groups to explore course options, experience college life and visit our facilities.

Help you through the application process; our team are available to offer assistance throughout the application process.
